What do you need for the Stamping Red, White & Blue Painting
How We Made the Stamping Red, White & Blue
You can see the steps below that we used to make the red, white and blue stamp painting.
Paint On Paper Plate Or Tray
You are going to want to put paint on a tray or paper plate. We use paper plates a lot for bigger cookie cutters.
You can put the three colors on the plate any want you want.
You can put them in different areas or mix them up. We mixed them up for this painting craft.
You can see how a cookie cutter will fit on the page with the mix of colors.
Stamping The Cookie Cutter On The Paper
After you are sure the cookie cutter has all the edges covered you pick it up and stamp it on the paper.
It does not matter where you stamp the cookie cutter on the paper.
And yes you might get paint on your fingers. Keeping a paper towel close by helps.
Look The The Star On The Paper
After you have stamped the cookie cutter, lift it up and take a look at the shape. You can see the shape of the star with the three colors. It is fun to see how the three colors mix for the painting.
Keep Stamping Stars & Flags On The Paper
After you get started keep going. You can mix it up and do all the sizes of the stars or just one size of start. The flag is also fun to add into the mix.
The stamps can overlap and kids can even slide the cookie cutters on the paper.
