How we made the Snowflake Stamp Painting
You can see the steps below that we used to make the Snowflake Stamp painting.
Put put the Paint on Paper Plate
You want to put the point around in a circle. Then you use a cookie cutter to spread the paint around. this allows you to know that the edges cookie cutter will be covered in paint.
If you use large cookie cutters you want to make sure to use the biggest cookie cutter to spread the paint around.
Stamp the Snowflake Cookie Cutter On the Paper
After you have paint on the cookie cutter you are going to stamp it on the paper. You want to make sure to press hard so all the edges of the snowflake are on the paper.
Then you lift up and see the snowflake on the paper. Paint splatters and other bubbles are okay to have. Every snowflake you stamp will look slight different.
Keep Stamping Snowflakes
You want to keep stamping snowflakes on the paper.
And just know that everyone and then the whole cookie cutter will fill up with a paint bubble. You can see one below. They pop and make interesting designs on the paper.
Overlap Snowflakes
You can also over lap snowflakes. It makes a very pretty picture as you paint to see the different colors and shapes.
Also know that younger kids might slide the cookie cutter and that is okay. This is their cookie cuter painting and it will always look how they want it.
