How we made the Clover Stamping Painting
You are see all the steps below we used to make this painting project. And
Paints on a Paper Plate
You can use any flat area for the paint but often use a paper plate. It works best to have several colors and to mix and match colors as well.
You can see we used green paint and green glitter paint for our stamping.
Put the Cookie Cutter in Paint
You put the cookie cutter in the paint. You can use the cookie cutter to spread the paint around on the paper plate. You can also use it to mix the regular green and glitter green paint.
Stamp the Cookie Cutter on the Paper
Then after you have paint on the cookie cutter you stamp it on the page. You can see one stamp below. The start of the clover painting project.
You can see what the cookie cutter stamp looks like. If you don’t see the full outline, you want them to press on the top of the cookie cutter rather than hold on the side of the cookie cutter.
Keep Adding More Clovers to the Paper
After you have one you can add many more. And with three sizes of clovers this gives lots of ways to work on painting the paper.
A little Clover Fun
Every now and then you get a paint bubble on the cookie cutter and it is fun to see how it pops on the paper. You can see a few of the clovers look like they have fill in paint and that is from the bubble on the cookie cutter.
Something fun to see if that happens when you do it!
