I just love Christmas and how many different themes there are to work with. You have so many fun words for kids to learn about. And there are many ways to explore those words. I love using easy reader books because it gives them a book they can flip through for those words.

Blends and Digraphs are often hard for some kids to get. And Christmas has a lot of blends and digraph words. I thought it would be fun to make an easy reader book for those words!

It is amazing how many words we use every day that has a blends or digraph in them. When I asked my girls about this we thought about the different words and we came up with a few of our favorites to put in this easy reader book!

Each of the pages has a blend or digraph letters and matching picture to color. Plus these are all Christmas words that kids know already.

You have the following letters groups in the book: ch, st, wr, pr, sl, and tr.

One fun thing you can do while reading the book is to circle all the blends or digraphs on the page that match. You can see that we have the words star and she underlined the st in the word star.
