We have read a lot of the Magic Tree House and Junie B. Jones books. The girls love them but don’t always want to sit down for reading them. But we are making time to do this. This summer we are exploring new books and series.

My Little Pony

My girls are very excited about My little Pony right now. We picked these books because they are interested in it. We read the books and having fun doing it. You never know what books will excite your child. These stories follow one of the ponies from the series. You know the setting and characters which is fun.

The Kingdom of Wrenly

This is another totally new series for us. I really like the look of the books, PLUS on thing I like is that there is BIG text on the pages. This is nice for those just starting to read chapter books. It has a fantasy and medieval setting for the series. We have the first two books and I think we will be exploring more of them.
