Fine Motor Fun With Candy Shape Spin, Trace & Color
I love working different learning skills together. Today I have a printable that works on fine motor, shapes, and colors altogether.
Candy is a favorite theme for Halloween and also around Valentine Day. I love that it is a theme you can use all year round.
Today printable is a free candy jar shapes to spin, trace, and color.
This is a part of the 5 Days of Candy Printables.
Candy Spin Color and Trace Printable
I have always loved the different type of shape activities. I also love when I can add something else to it. I’m always looking for changes.
I love spinning activities so I added some fun things altogether to make something fun you can use all year.
Each page has one shape to focus on. I love when you can use just what you want.
Each has a jar full of shapes to trace. There is a spinner for kids to spin and then trace and color, making the color on the spinner.
You have 8 shapes for kids to work on circle, square, rectangle, oval, diamond (or rhombus), triangle, star, heart.
How we used the Candy Spin Color and Trace Printable printables
Use a Pencil to make the Spinner
To make the spinner, you use a paperclip and pencil. The pencil is held in the center for the circle. You flick the paperclip and watch it spin around.
You can also use a clear spinner.
Color the color Words on the Spinner
These shape tracing printables make great fine motor centers for kids to use. I love that they are no-prep. One thing that I do is have them color the wheel so they remember what the color names are. It has the colors, red, blue, purple, yellow, orange, and green.
Spin trace and Color the Shapes
But you can always just print and have the kids just color and go! Plus you have 8 shapes to pick from.
Things to use with the Free Candy Shape Spin, Trace & Color Printable
