Ways to Use BOB Books Set 1 Book 3 Dot

These are just a few ways to use some of the printables in the set. You can check each post to see more ways for all of them.

I love being able to reuse the word paths. They are something fun for all kids. Plus there is great repeating of all the new words from the boom. We love using glass gems on them. You can give kids different colors to make it fun.

If you want to reuse the read, write, and stamp pages then put them in a sheet protector and use dry erase markers and lacing letters for the stamp part. You can always cut the words up and use them one a time.

You can use the writing pages for word practice. They can write the word over and over. You could do one line each day.

Another page you might like to reuse is Making Words. I love using the lacing letters on these! Just have them build one word at a time. I like keeping one set of letters just for these types of activities.

The cube flashcards are great for matching but they also work great for building sentences from the book. Each new set of cube cards only has new words from each book. That way you don’t have repeats. I print ours on white cardstock but you could do color cardstock to match the book set you are in.

  1. Do you intend to continue these for all the Bob books? My boys are using them together… the older is practicing writing words while the younger is sounding out the words. 🙂
