How to use the Arctic Animals Gross Motor Dice Inserts
I love the cube dice. They are so easy to use. PLUS they make the gross motor dice loads of fun and easy to change up!
You start by cutting the arctic animal movements and speed dice.
Once the dice cube dice are cut out it is simple and easy to switch them out. You just slide them right in the dice. Simple and easy. plus you can remove them just as easily to store and use later.
Another reason I love the gross motor cube dice is that they last so much longer than the paper folder ones. My girls LOVE to throw the dice up in the air!
How to use the Arctic Animals Gross Motor Dice
No matter if we have done the movements before we always start off by reviewing the movements. This helps everyone make sure of spacing and what they are doing. That way there are no surprises.
The Arctic Animals Movements
Polar Bear You do a bear walk. You keep your arms and legs straight with your bottom in the air.
Arctic Snowy Owl You flap your arms up and down.
Arctic Wolf You run in place or run around.
Walrus You lay on your stomach and pull yourself across the room using your arms.
Beluga Whale You swim through the water.
Snowshoe Hare You jump like a rabbit.
Now after they have the movements down add in the speed dice and if you want a number dice! It is a fun way to change up the movements with speed and how many you do!
