Adding Pirate Coins Easy Reader Books: Single and Double Digit
I know that my youngest just loves having different books to use with learning. She is often asking for me to make them.
We have been working on the start of double-digit addition with her. I thought we would change up how we have been doing it and add in a pirate easy reader math book!
The Adding Pirate Coins Easy Reader Books are a part of the 5 Days of Pirate Printables.
We have included links to some of the products and resources we have used with this activity. If you purchase via the links we may earn a small commission.
This is a great addition to the pirate printables and addition printables on the site.
I know that there are many kids that work better when you change something up. So I made two levels of the adding pirate coins books. There is a single digit and double digit. It makes it a fun math book instead of a math worksheet.
Each book has a pirate and tells you how many coins that they have. It will have two different types of coins. The coin words are gold, silver, or bronze.
At the bottom of every page is an equation that kids can fill in with the information above. It gives them a word math problem in a book format.
The double-digit book has the same layout as the single and just have two numbers to add instead. The book gives kids a change in how they are working on the numbers. We also underline the numbers we were adding in the sentence.
