ABC Gross Motor: Letter D
We did something fun with gross motor time this week. I made the girls a “D” on the floor with masking tape.
We used the “D” and “d” the following ways making sure to go one way and then reverse directions:
- Acted like it is a balance beam
- Simple walk around the outside and inside not touching the tape
- Tip toe around
- Jump in and out
- Skipped around
- Shuffled sideways
- Trace with a pointer
- Collect D items to put in it
- Walk backwards on the lines

Lower case d
They also played in the D and around the D. It was a dinosaur parade at one time. Also a track way for the cars to go around.
