ABC Dot the Letter & Find the Letter
I love having different ABC finds! They have been fun to make and fun for kids to use. I know that some kids might know their letters but are not ready to do writing and that is what makes dot makers letters perfect for them!
So today I’m taking my love the ABC finds and dot markers and putting them together! You have a very fun dot the letter find and the letter for all the letters of the alphabet.
We have included links to some of the products and resources we have used with this activity. If you purchase via the links we may earn a small commission.
I consider this one of the fun types of finds that I have made! I making the finds but having different ways to use them is nice. These pages are simple and great for different ages and for kids that might not be ready to do handwriting but can work on learning letters.
Plus these work great with dot markers!
Each of the pages has one uppercase or lowercase letter to work on. They have the letter to dot and then find the matching letter on the side. You can see I have a dot marker set up with it.
How we used the ABC Dot the Letter & Find the Letter
The most basic way to use these is with a dot marker or any way you want to make the page. I would suggest dotting the letter first and then doing the find part of the activity.
I love when I can take a printable page and turn it into a hands-on mat. And these printables work great for that. I recommend that you laminate the page if you plan on doing this. It helps the mats last longer.
You can see how I used clear glass gems to cover the letters and fill in the circles on the letter. I love using glass gems that are clear because after you cover the letters you can still see them.
