Ways to use the Romping & Roaring Letter I Pack

There are many ways to use the letter I pack printables and I wanted to show you a few ways you could use them!

I is for Igloo Coloring Page

You can color the igloo and then find the letter Ii in the sentence below the picture. It is a great way to introduce the letter I.

Stamp Letter Ii on the Igloo

This is a great fine motor activity using stamps. You can stamp the uppercase I and lowercase i on the igloo. You can see we used a blog stamp pad for the Is. You could do uppercase one color and lowercase a different color.

Decorate the Letter I (or Letter I Playdough Mat)

There are several ways to use this mat. You can color and decorate it, use it as a playdough mat. But today I’m showing a new way. You can use it as a letter sorting mat.

You use the lowercase lacing letters and lacing letters uppercase and sort the letters.

Prewriting Practice Lines Printables

You have three prewriting lines in the letter I pack. They are all different. You can see that we use the prewriting page in a sheet protector so that we could trace it over and over.

Trace Letter Ii Practice with Start & Stop

This letter I tracing printable is a great way to work on forming the letter I. You can see the start and stop of the letter I with the straight lines you are tracing. You can put the letter I tracing page in a sheet protector and use dry eraser markers to trace the letter I over and over.

Color the Uppercase I & Lowercase i

You will find a color code chart for the uppercase I and the lowercase i. You can see that uppercase I is red and the lowercase i is blue.

Letter I Find

You have the uppercase letter I, the lowercase letter i, and igloo on the left side of the paper. You then find and dot the uppercase I and lowercase i that you can find.

Dot Marker Letter I and Igloo

You can see the dot marker for the letter I and the igloo with dots on this printable. You can see that we used clear counters on the letter I and igloo to make this a fine motor mat.

Color Uppercase Letter I by Size

You can see that there is a color code for small, medium, and large on the upper left-hand side of the paper. Then you have the uppercase I in the three sizes.

Shape Tracing Dotted Line with Igloos

You have eight shapes for kids to trace. This matches the thick line and is for kids that need extra fine motor work. You can see we put it in a sheet protector and traced the shapes with a dry erase marker.

Lowercase Letter Maze

You have a fun letter maze for kids to do. It has all lowercase letters. You can see that we used clear counters to follow the lowercase letter i through the maze.

Sort Uppercase Letter I & Lowercase Letter i

A great hands-on activity is uppercase letter I and lowercase letter I sorting. You can see it has six to sort for each side. Plus shows the letters on the top to help kids match the letters.

9 Piece Puzzle

You will find three types of puzzles but this is a nine piece puzzle that has the uppercase I and lowercase i with an igloo for kids to do. You can print this twice and use one puzzle as a template.
