Ways to Use the Jack and the Beanstalk Counting Coins Printable

You are going to have kids use the coins to make the amount on card. Each number should have several ways you can use coins to make the number.

You can suggest they use the least amount of coins to make the numbers. And see what they come up with. They can then work on how much each coin is and adding the coins together. It is a fun challenge for kids working on adding coins.
Use the Most Amount of Coins
You can suggest they use the most amount of coins they can to make the numbers. Each suggestion makes them think about how many coins they could use.
The fun part is that each number can use lots of different coins.
Recording Coins Use on the Cards
Now the coin worksheet can be used with or without the cards. There is space for all six of the cards on the worksheet.
You can use the cards and then record on the worksheet. It lets them count the coins they have on the cards. And is a great way to know that two dimes is 20 cents.
Each part of this activity is to help kids learn about coins and adding up coins to make the numbers on the cards. This is a great printable for kids working on learning coin amounts and using coins to make the numbers and the recording how many coins made each number.
