Free Basketball ABC Tracing Strips
ABCs are something you can work on all year long. I know that we are always working on tracing our letters in many different ways.
These free basketball ABC tracing strips are great for a March and summer letter tracing center.
You can add the alphabet tracing strips to learning centers and have fun tracing letters. They have letters from A to Z for kids to trace.

Basketball is a great March and summer theme for kids. And these tracing strips work great with my Basketball Weekly Packs!
The Basketball Alphabet Tracing Strips are great for later PreK and Kindergarten. You can use just the letters you are looking for or the whole set.
It is recommended that you print the letter tracing strips on cardstock and laminating them.

Ways to Use the Basketball ABC Tracing Strips Printable
You will see a few ways to use these basketball alphabet tracing strips with kids.
Laminating the Basketball ABC Tracing Strips
If you plan on using these a lot, you might want to print the alphabet tracing strips on
cardstock and laminate them. It is a great way to reuse them. You can laminate the page and then cut or cut them out and laminate them.
You can see we like to laminate first and then cut them out.
Storing the Basketball ABC Tracing Strips
You can store the basketball ABC tracing strips on a ring. This keeps all the strips together, and you are less likely to use them. Or at least we are less likely to lose them.
Setting up a Basketball ABC Letter Tracing Centers
You can use the basketball ABC letter tracing strips in a handwriting center for kids. You can use the tracing strips you need or all the alphabet tracing strips.
You put the strips you need on a ring and provide them with a dry erase marker to trace the letters
Some letter tracing center ideas are:
– Letters of their name
– Sight words
– CVC words
– Vocab
– Letter of the Day
Tracing the Letters
You can use a dry erase marker then to trace the letters. You can use black but it is fun to use colored markers every now and then.
You can also trace the example of how to write the letter.
Cleaning Off Dry Erase Marker with Q-Tip
For a little add extra practice with tracing letters you can use a q-tip and clean of the dry erase marker. It might take a few times of tracing the letter to get all the marker off but it is a fun way to get extra letter writing practice.
And it is fun too.
