How we made the Christmas Tree Paper Roll Painting
You will see the steps below we used to make the paper roll Christmas tree.
Leave space at the top of Christmas for the Star
You can use a hand to make space for the star at the top of the Christmas tree. We used our hands to mark that space.
Make the Tree with the Paper Rolls
Next you use the paper rolls to make the tree. And let them be creative. The tree can fill the paper or not fill the paper. You can let them up to them.
You can draw a tree shape for younger kids to fill in. And older kids can just stamp the tree and tell them to make a triangle shape with their paper rolls.
You can see we did the paper roll stamps to the bottom of the page. Another ideas is to leave space and make the bottom of the tree. You can do either ideas.
Making the Star at the Top of the Christmas Tree
We took one paper roll and squished it flat. So that we could use it to make the points on the star at the top of the tree.
You can see how fun the star looks at the top of the tree. Plus is t is easy to make. And you can move it around and make a fun star at the top.
Making the Lights on the Christmas Tree
Finally, you use the cotton balls to paint the lights on the Christmas tree. You can have loads of fun mixing up the different colors of lights on the tree.
We used the cotton balls in clothespins, but you could just use your fingers to hold the cotton ball. Or just use your fingers to paint the lights.
