The school number tracing strips are a great addition to the school printables on the site.

The number tracing strips are great for later PreK and Kindergarten. You can use just the numbers you are looking for or the whole set. They are great for any time during the year.

I recommend cutting and laminating the strips to use them over and over. You can use a hole punch to make a hole in the circle and put them on a ring. It also makes them easy to store.

Ways to Use the School Number Tracing Strips Printable

I’m going to show you a few ways that we have used the school themed number tracing strips.

Laminating the Number Tracing Strips

You can laminate the tracing strips. There are several ways to do it. I like to laminate first and then cut out the strips.

Store the Tracing strips on a Ring

You can store the strips on a ring. That way you can put on only the tracing strips that you need. If you are working on 1 to 10 you can only put those on. If you are working 11 to 20 then put those tracing strips on.

Trace the Numbers with a Dry Erase Marker

You can use dry erase markers on these because they have been laminated. You can see how easy it is to trace the numbers.

Cleabing off the tracing strips

After you have traced the strips you can have kids wipe off the strip with a cotton swab. This is a great sneaky way to work on more fine motor!
