Shark Shape Matching Puzzles

Puzzles are a favorite learning tool for some kids. I like taking a theme and adding a puzzle to it. So you have this really fun free shark shape matching puzzles!

Sharks are loads of fun to learn with. And I love the shark fins as you see them in the water. So that it’s what makes this activity fun is that you have the fun ocean theme of sharks with the puzzle

And puzzles can be used so many different ways to meet the needs of different kids.

I love that this has two fun parts the shark and the shape. It is a great new ocean printable and shark printables on the site.

There are two different shapes in the set you have circle, square, triangle, rectangle, oval, rhombus, heart, star, crescent, hexagon, pentagon, and octagon.

Each of the puzzles has a shark fin with a shape on it and the matching picture of that shape. I recommend printing these on cardstock and laminating them.

Ways to use the Shark Shape Matching Puzzles

There are many ways to match the puzzles but one of my favorites is to give them a mix of shapes laid out for them to match. They can match either side, but it is fun to see the puzzles when they are all done.

One way I love to store these is to put them on rings. It makes it easy to keep all the puzzles together and not have loads of extra papers flying around. You can see how I put all the puzzles on rings.

Now if you do the ring idea for storage, it always works for matching! You can flip through the cards and match the shapes without any extra set up than giving them the cards!
