Handwriting: ABC Tracing Cards for the Whole Alphabet!
Learning the Alphabet and handwriting go hand in hand. I love that you can learn the letters and then work into writing the letters.
There are many different ways to work on this. I have had several favorites you can use for it. We love the ABC Tracing Letters pages.
And I love changing things up. And tracing cards are one way to do that. So today I have some new free ABC Tracing Cards for you to use!

Tracing Letter Handwriting Card Printables
These alphabet handwriting cards are a great reusable set of cards for learning the ABCs. You can start with one letter and work up to all 26 letters of the alphabet. It all depends on what you are learning.
It is a fun way for kids in PreK and Kindergarten to work on their letters.
There are two types of cards. They both come in uppercase tracing and lowercase tracing options. There is a space in the corner to punch the cards out to put on rings for both types. I recommend printing these on cardstock
Letter Handwriting Cards
The first set just has the letters on them. You are going to fix 6 cards on a page. This allows you to just trace letters.
Letter Handwriting Cards With Pictures
The second type of card has a picture with the letter. Uppercase and lowercase have the same picture to help kids see that they go together. There are 4 cards on a page.

Print the Tracing Letter Cards on Colord Cardstock
The first thing to know is that I printed our alphabet tracing letters on color cardstock
Put the Colored Tracing Letter Cards on a Ring
You can only use the letters you need. So you can put just uppercase and lowercase together. or maybe just the case that you are working on. I know that we all learn letters in different orders. You can see that I have the uppercase and lowercase for the letter A on a ring.
Put the Picture and Handwriting Letter Cards on a Ring
I printed the letters with pictures on stardust cardstock
Trace the Letters with Dry Erase Markers
The alphabet letter tracing cards are really fun to use with dry erase markers
Clean the Letter Tracing Cards with a Q-Tip
After they trace the letters let them use a q-tip
Use the Handwriting Cards for Mini Playdough Mats
You can use the handwriting cards work great as mini playdough mats. Kids can make tiny lines with playdough
Use the Small Ovbject to guild the Letters on the Handwriting Tracing Cards
You can use small hands-on objects as well. Mini erasers are perfect for this. We get a lot of our mini erasers at Target.
