Dot Marker the Pattern Printables

Patterns are one of the first math activities that kids can work on and not even know they are doing math! It is working on building a pattern using many different objects.

Today I have a fun set of free dot marker pattern printables! These are super simple and easy to use.

You have a mix of no-prep and hands-on activities that kids can do with dot markers and hands-on items.

I have always loved dot markers and that is one reason that makes this set so much fun! I love when I can make something to go with them!

This fun set has many ways that you can use it!

It has a set of pattern cards. These come in color and black and white. There is a mix of AB and ABC patterns for kids to work on. The colors are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. They match perfectly to the dot marker.

The set has help for the patterns. You can pick a mix of patterns. There are several of the AB and ABC patterns to pick from. You could even use these as a color pick not always a dot marker!

The set has a fun mix of no-prep dot marker worksheets. They each have 4 patterns of ABC or AB. There are two pages for each pattern type.

Ways to use the Dot Marker Pattern Printables

I love having a mix of ways to show you how to use these printables. They are so much fun when you can change it up.

The most basic way is with the dot markers. You can let them pick the dot marker pattern they want to use and then dot the no-prep worksheet. Or you can let them pick their own pattern. It is super simple and easy to do.

You can also cut the black and white patterns in strips and let them do one pattern card as a time! Super simple and easy to prepare. They pick their pattern and then dot the strip with their dot markers.

Now if you are like me you like to have hands-on activities as well. The clear counters match perfect to the 6 colors and you can use them on the color strips. They just match the pattern.

You can also use any color set that has red, orange, yellow, green and blue. We love using the counting bears for patterns. Plus the colors match.
