Model Magic Christmas Tree

Every season change is always fun and Christmas is one of my favorite holidays! I have so many activities and printables to pick and choose from! We always have a blast with it.

Today we have a fun new model magic Christmas tree. We love Christmas trees at our house. They are always so much fun.

This is a great fine motor craft that works great for kids that do want to do fine motor work but love to do crafts. This is how I sneak in fine motor work for one of my girls who is older.

I think one book we read about when we put up the Christmas Tree is Mr. Willowby’s Christmas Tree. We have done for years a craft or activity on this book!

I love how the tree progresses through the book. How it gets smaller and smaller. It is fun.

So we got our tree put out and now we are fully into Christmas activities! It has been a fun time getting into a new holiday.

How to make the Model Magic Christmas Tree

You take the model magic green and press it onto the cone. This is fun and your don’t have to make it smooth because no Christmas tree is 100% the same.

While we are doing putting model magic on the tree we cover just the corners on the bottom of the tree. This lets the tree look like it goes under. But since you don’t see the bottom it does not need to be covered.

We used a few colors to make the ornaments. You might ask why I limit the color. But one thing I love about model magic is that is mixes really well! They can make their own new colors!

We rolled tiny small balls to put on our trees. I love that this part is open to any way they want to do it. They can put anything they want on it. I love that rolling the balls is a great fine motor activity.

I love how creative kids can be. They can come up with their own creative ideas. One of my girls made this great candy cane!

One of the last steps we did was to punch out a star to place on the top! We punched two stars so that you would see it on both sides! It was our last step to our trees!
