Free Bear Themed Number Clip Cards

These free bear counting clip cards are a great way to work on numbers in a fun way.

I recently made a fun set of bear clip cards for addition and subtraction with bears and I had someone ask do you have something like this for just numbers.

And I said no, but thought hey it would be fun to have both counting bears cards and bear math cards so different kids can work on the same thing but at their own levels.

So today I have some free Bear Number clip cards to help kids that need more counting help. They are a fun way to work on counting, numbers, and number lines to learn numbers.

What are clip cards?

Clip cards target specific learning objectives on each card. They are great for independent learners. This set has addition and subtraction for the clip cards.

Bear Number Clip Cards

The bear number clip cards have counting numbers with clipping numbers on the side. And a number line at the bottom to clip where the number goes in order.

I wanted these bear counting cards to be simple and yet the same as the addition and subtraction clip cards. So I did just that I made counting clip cards that have a fun number line so you can work on counting and seeing where the number fits.

Each of the cards has bears to count. There is a number line at the bottom under the bears you counting. The number line goes from 1 to 10. You have three numbers on the side to clip. Plus the bear sizes match up with the bear counters.

I recommend printing the bear nubmer clip cards on white cardstock to help them last longer.

Ways to use the Bear Counting Number Clip Cards Printable

These are just a few of the ways you can use the cards. I love it when you can make something flexible.

Count the Bears and Clip with Clothespins

The most basic way to use the bear number clip cards is with clothespins. You can clip the number on the line and the side. And see that both match up. If you want to change how you clip the cards you can try paper clips.

Hands-on Bear Counting

You can use the bear counters with these cards. The images match up perfectly for you to put the bears on the cards. Then you can place another bear for the answer.

Bear Counting Numbers with Glass Gems

You can also use clear glass gems on the cards. This way they can see the number on the line and the answer to clip. You could also place the gems on the bears while you are counting.
