Pirate Themed ABC Easy Reader Book
Pirate is always such a fun theme! You can do it during the summer, fall, winter, and spring. And it is also fun on Talk like Pirate Day!
It has been a fun day for a few years and this year I wanted to add a fun easy reader book. So today we have the free Pirate Themed Easy Reader book!
These books are a fun way to explore letters at the start of words.

This is a great addition to the pirate activities on the site.
I know that so many kids love to have their own books. These ABC books are great for that. You have the following pirate words: pirate, ship, anchor, boot, cannon, compass, gold, flag, hat, spyglass, sword, skull, and treasure.
Each of the books has a large lowercase letter for them to trace, a picture to color and sentence to read.
How you can use the Pirate Themed ABC Easy Reader Book
Each of the pages is really simple for kids to see and understand. I have them trace the letter and then work on finding the letter in the sentence. This lets them have a letter find and reading activity altogether.
You can see how we trace the letter and underlined the letters below. You can do this for each page in the book.
