Fun Books To Read October 2019 Book Find
I love that there are always new picture books to be found. We have always been on the search for new things. We love having different books to read and learn about.
You never know what book you might find is a new favorite. We look for books at bookstores, libraries or anywhere we go.
We also have fun that my older girls can still read a picture book and it is okay. Picture books don’t stop when the kids are little.
We have included links to some of the products and resources we have used with this activity. If you purchase via the links we may earn a small commission.
Each of these books has a link to Amazon. You can find out more about the books plus some times see a preview of the book.
DINO HUNT has just become one of our all time favorite dinosaur books! I love the poems on each page and the information on each dinosaur! You can have fun reading this over and over!
You Are Home: An Ode to the National Parks is a great picture book full of wonderful view and animals in the National Parks. We love the going to the parks and this books shows some we might not make it to. I love how simple the book is and how amazing the jounery can be. There is also information in the back about the author that is cool to read.
Alphabreaths: The ABCs of Mindful Breathing is a new calmdown tool for us. I love all the great ideas for your breath. You have a ninja, superhero, red woods and many more ideas for using your breath. You have 26 fun ideas. This would be great in a calm down area!
Two Brothers, Four Hands is the story about two artists and their lives. I love how differen they were and yet in the end came to support each other in their own art. You can have fun introducting kids to new artists with this book.
The Sea Book has a fun detailed look into the ocean. You can see things in and around it. Plus it has detail information about each part of the ocean. It also talks about how we can recycle to help the ocean.
Just Add Glitter is a cute book about crafting and making people happy with glitter. I found it cute and fun to read. And if you know me I’m NOT a glitter craft person. But you know some times just a little glitter is fun.
Nya’s Long Walk: A Step at a Time is a picture book version of the book A Long Walk to Water: Based on a True Story. The picture book is great for an introduction to stories. I love how this shows the struggle of walking 2 hours to get water every day. And that the water is not always clean. You can follow their story and learn more about how different things are in other places of the world.
