Ocean Themed ABC Spin & Color

There are so many themes to use during the summer and the ocean has always been a favorite for us. I know that at times I want something simple and easy to use to review ideas.

And I know I never had enough ABCs when my girls were younger. So today I have a simple spin and color ABC printable that is a simple no-prep!

This is a great addition to the ocean printables on the site.

Each of the pages is really simple. They have three letters for kids to review. They come in sets of ABC, DEF, GHI, JKL, MNO, PQR, STU, VWX, XYZ.

They come in uppercase and lowercase options because I know not everyone works on their uppercase and lowercase together.

In each of the corners, you will see the spinners for the ABCs. You use a paperclip and pencil to make the spinner. We have some clear spinners that we have been using. I love them because there is no fuss with it.

Ways to use these Ocean ABC Spin & Color

You can start with the most basic way which is to just spin and color the letters. You can use markers, crayons or whatever the kids want. I like to color the spinner to match when they should color the bubbles.

Another way to do it is to use dot marker. That way they can spin and dot the letters. We just love the dot markers at our house. My girls will do almost any activity with them.

I have also used glass gems of different colors to cover the letters. This is a fun way to work fine motor skills and letters.

If you want to reuse the mat then use some ocean counters to cover the letters. I print the pages on colored cardstock and laminate the sheet or put them in sheet protectors so that they last longer.
