Heart Number Tracing Strips – Numbers 0 to 20
Hearts is always a fun theme for February and such a fun shape to have. Today I have some fun Heart Number Tracing Strips. They are easy to use and fun.
They are simple and easy to use. Plus this new set works great with my Heart Themed Number Find!

These are great for later PreK and Kindergarten. You can use just the numbers you are looking for or the whole set. They are great for Valentines or any heart shape theme. Plus you can just print and use the numbers you are working on. You can also just print them and not cut them up and trace all the numbers.
Things to use with the Valentine Heart Themed Number Tracing Strips Printable
- printer
- white cardstock
- laminator – this is similar to what I use and love!
- laminating pouches
- q-tip
- dry erase markers
- 1 inch ring
Ways to Use the Valentine Number Tracing Strips Printable
Laminate the Valentine Number Tracing Strips
You can laminate the heart number tracing strips. You can print, laminate, and then cut the number tracing strips. Or you can cut, laminate, and then cut it out again.
You can see that we like to do the first with the laminate and then cut. If you do the laminate and then cut it is recommended that use scissors to cut the strips to help keep the laminate from coming apart.
Store the Valentine Number Tracings Strips on Rings
After you have them laminated and cut out the heart number tracing strips, you can store them on a ring
Using Valentine Number Tracing Strips in A Number Center
You can see below how you can set up the heart number tracing strips in a learning center. You can put the number strips you are working on a ring. Then give them a dry eraser marker to use with the strips. You can put all the numbers or just a few.
It is also fun to use pink, purple, or red dry erase markers
Trace the Valentine Number Tracing Strips Printable
You then trace the numbers on the tracing strips. You use a dry eraser marker and you can use the tracing strips over and over.
Don’t forget that you can also trace the example of how to write the number! You can be flexible in how you use the tracing strips
