Valentines Multiplication by 2 Matching Cards
Valentines is always such a fun theme to learn with. There are so many different activities that you can do with it. We are always working on different ways of learning. I love matching cards.
Today I have some free Valentines Multiplication Matching cards that work in multiples of 2. They are a great way to add in 3 different types of learning together.
I love when we can do something hands-on to change up how we learning. It is great to have new ideas or reuse an old favorite.
You are going find cards that all have multiplication by two matching. They will work on groups of two for the picture, repeat addition and equation. All the cards have the same heart boxes with chocolates. I recommend printing them on cardstock
Things to use with this printable
These are some of the items we use to prepare and used with the printables.
How we used this pritnable
If you don’t want to start out with all three cards you don’t have it. I love doing 2 cards at a time. This is an easy way to start into learning. You can use just the picture and the repeat addition. This shows that you are added lots of different twos and how they work together.
You could them switch up to the repeat addition and the equations to do the matching. You can mix and match the two cards any ways you want.
You can also just match the picture with the equations. These are flexible so you can do this!
After you have the idea you can match all three. You can do this any way you want. We love doing matching games. We start with the card facing up like you see below and then work on facing down. I love to limit to 6 at a time or 3 at a time if you have less time.
When you have the idea down you can add the worksheet to record your answers. It has a spot for the repeat addition and the equation with answers. As they match the cards they write in the answer. It is a fun way to record what they do and makes this a great math center.
