CVCC Word Family Color By Letter: ANK, INK, ONK & UNK
Flashcards can be boring and something kids don’t always want to do. I love changing up how we do our cards.
Today I have the CVCC Word Family Color By Letter printables for -ank, -ink, -onk & -unk.
These coloring pages are a great way to work on certain spellings or endings. Plus this gives kids a chance to make their own spelling cards.
Each set has the same color by letter code. This makes it easy to use. I use the same for all the color by letter activities. Nothing says you have to use this. You can always color the letters in red for vowel and blue for the consonant. They are so many ways you can use these.
There are two different types of pages. A single page you can color with all the words together. Or cards you can color and cut up. Each page has nine words or nine cards. This is to make it easy for kids to use them.
The first color by letter is a single page that makes a great review sheet or introduction sheet that kids can use the binders. It has nine words together on one page.
The second is a set of card. The cards have the same font and size as the page. We like to put our cards on a ring but we also play matching games with them.
I know that not all kids like white paper. I have one that would rather do anything but work with white paper. I have some stardust cardstock
Plus you can color the card however you want. But if kids are tired of crayons and colored pencils switch it up and let them paint
