Winter Olympics Easy Reader Book
The Winter Olympics are about to start and there are so many great winter sports that kids can watch! I know that I have my favorites.
I wanted to make a matching Winter sports easy reader book to the summer sports easy reader book. That way you can see the differences between the two seasons and their sports.
The Winter Olympics Easy Reader Book is a very simple easy reader to help kids learn about the winter sports in the Olympics.
We have included links to some of the products and resources we have used with this activity. If you purchase via the links we may earn a small commission.
This is a great addition to the winter printables and Olympic printables on the site.
Each book has simple sight words and there are 9 different sports listed in the book. You will find skiing, figure skating, speed skating, bobsledding, hockey, ski jumping, snowboarding, skeleton, and curling.
The book has the sight words: I, can, see. Then you see the sports name that matches up to the picture. You can underline the sports names as you get to each of them.
If you want to do something fun with the book you can print off the cards from the Winter Olympics Pack and have them next to the book. You could use it as a review of the words before you start.
Winter Olympics Pack has writing activites that could be used along with this book. Plus other math and language activities as well.
