What Can a Pirate Sail Easy Reader Book: SH Digraphs
Easy reader books are always fun to have. I know that I love making fun one for kids to use. Plus when you can add something silly it just might help kids remember the words and sounds.
Today’s pirate printable is a fun easy reader book working on the digraph “sh”. It is fun and silly and loads of fun to read. Plus an extra fill in the blank for older kids.
This Pirate Easy Reader book is a part of the 5 Days of Pirate Printables.
The idea with this easy reader book is learning or focusing on the “sh” sound. I made this book to focus on what a pirate can sail in!
Each page has a question and answer. This helps build word knowledge and understanding. Each of the questions and answers is similar to make it easier to read.
Each page is simple and easy with the repeating words to make this easier for beginner readers. I like to have my girls underline sound or focus of the books.
Now since I always have my older girls asking for books for them. I changed the book up a bit and you have a fill in the blank part of the book for older kids to have some fun writing in. There is one example filled out in the first book. Then they can have fun making adding just what pirates can do with the items.
What you will find in these printables:
- Digraph “sh” words
- sight words: can, a, on, can’t, yes, no
- Other words: priate, sail
- Two 8 page book
- Second book with fill in the missing words
