Super Easy Christmas Washi Tape Wreaths
I’m always looking for something fun and easy for my girls and me to make. And this wreath was a perfect post school craft for us to do. A lot of times we are just looking for simple and easy plus fun for all of us.
If you saw our washi tape Christmas trees we really enjoy that one. My girls wanted to make a wreath for Christmas this year. I thought it would be fun to make one with some of our leftover washi tape rolls.
It was so easy to make, and we had fun while we made them.
Every year we do different Christmas crafts and activities and love the season. Plus I like having something simple for them to do. I’m not always looking for the complicated craft.
It was an easy craft to build their fine motor while creating something fun. We also sat on the floor to do the craft. It is fun to change up the location of where we do the craft as well.
I also had very little prep time to put the craft together for my girls to do.
What you need for this craft: paper plate with center cut out, and Christmas washi tape.
It was simple to do. You just put the washi tape around the plate. You made sure the tape was long enough so you could wrap it around to the back of the paper plate.
My middle did one where she had a pattern around the plate. She thought it was fun to watch the wreath come alive with the stripped colors.
My youngest divided the plate into fourths and then filled in the tape from there. She matched each side, so it was the same. I love this about open ended crafts. There is no wrong way to make the wreath!
These were so much fun to make! Plus we had a fun time talking and just doing something together.
