Free Nativity Bookmarks with Scriptures

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. And now and then I want to make something special for it. I love making bookmarks, and the Nativity is such a beautiful story.

I had made a set of story cards and scriptures that matched in the second Nativity pack. It has always been a favorite to use each year.

This year I wanted to add something different. I thought some Nativity bookmarks that have some matching scriptures would be fun to have during the season.

The Nativity Bookmarks are a great addition to the Nativity Printables on the site.

What is the Nativity?

The Nativity is the birth of Jesus Christ, and is celebrated by Christians on Christmas Day. It has different themes and parts to the Nativity story.

Nativity Bookmarks with Matching Scriptures and Pictures

Each of the Nativity bookmarks has where the scripture from where it came at the top. I wanted people to know where I got the different parts. There are so many to pick from that it was hard to pick out just a few of them.

You are going to find Mary, Joseph, Bethlehem, baby Jesus, shepherds, an inn keeper, stable, angel and wise men on the bookmarks. You can read these to tell the story of the Nativity with kids.

Nativity Picture Book to Read with the Nativity Bookmarks

You can use the scriptures on the bookmarks but you can also use these with different Nativity picture books.

The First Christmas Night is a fun telling of the nativity story with the events.

Store the Nativity Bookmarks on a ring

I put ours on a ring so you can flip through them. It is a fun way to explore the story with little fingers. If you want them to last a long time I recommend laminate them.

Read the Bookmarks and Find the People From the Nativity Story

You can have fun reading the bookmarks and telling the Nativity story with kids. It is a fun activity you can do as you get closer to Christmas.

Use the Nativity Bookmarks with the Sequencing Printables

You can also use the nativity bookmarks with Nativity sequencing printable. This allows you to use the bookmarks to help write the Nativity story in four steps.

This can also help with the Nativity order of event the clip cards.
