To a Month of Just Enjoying: December 2016 Monthly Goals with Printables

Every year I spend my December running around to make every little activity or thing to do. This year, I’m not doing that. I’m just going to relax. That also means a relaxed for both blog and home life. I want to enjoy my time with my girls. Plus Christmas is my favorite time of the year.

I also have a seasonal Christmas monthly cleaning list out to match the to-do list printable from last year.

I have my planning printables out and ready to use. I’m excited about the month. But I know that it will be a relaxed month with a few small things during it. I do find that the to-do lists and monthly cleaning do help me keep better track of how I’m doing.

I’m looking forward to taking some time off during December and just relaxing! Yes, I will make it a relaxing month and just enjoy the holidays.

My Goals are always divided up between my blog, family/home and personal. I break down some big goals into smaller goals each month.

Blog Goals

December is always a relaxed time for me. I take time off to spend with family and I really do enjoy it. It means that blogging is on a relaxed time. I will do 5 or 6 posts a week and keep it simple. Who says the holidays have to make things complicated.

Plan out what my month is going to have, so I can get what I want done and relax.
Have a week of Free Winter Themed Printables with Royal Baloo
Take Weekends off and work only during the week.
Take break during Christmas from Blogging
Finish 3 smaller selling products for the month – There will be up on Teachers Pay Teacher as I make them.
Complete teacher requested projects that will be up on Teachers Pay Teacher>.
Plan and make a Blog Planner to suit my needs
Create a total project list of all started projects with projected release dates. Schedule steps for pictures and when we will use them.
Finish up working on Logo & Blog Design and pick a launch date
Pick a place for my newletter before the start of 2016

Family Goals

We are working on spending time as a family this December I want to spend time with my girls not working around my girls. This means we cut back on things we might be doing and just try to enjoy a fun time. We plan on having loads of fun this December.

Spend one weekend Computer Free for EVERYONE!
Fill out TO DO LIST daily
Make a weekly menu!
Spend 15 minutes declutter one area every day until one area is clean. (Look for pictures on Instagram #kbngoals
Keep Homework area clean
Laundry will be put away at the end of the day. Use to-do list to keep track.
Make daily and weekly chore charts for my girls
Fill out and Check off: Daily, Weekly & Monthly Cleaning Cart
Clean out unused items and declutter the whole office

Personal Goals

Christmas happens to be my favorite time of the year. I’m always looking for things to do. This year I plan on relaxing as much as I can. I don’t want to be rushing around and being stressed. I hope this month to take my weekends off from working. I enjoy the work I do but work better when I’m relaxed.

Schedule my tasks that need to be done for: blog, personal and family.
Daily Fitness – walking 5 days at least week
Make 10,000 steps EVERY day. Keep track using Fitbit Charge HR Wireless Activity Wristband.
Take weekends off! It no blog work at those times.
Read or listen to 5 fun books during the month – Don’t always get new books, enjoy rereading books as well.
Color in my coloring book when I get stressed or need a mommy time out – at least 15 minutes a day

Holiday Goals

The holidays can be very stressful at our house and this year I just want to have peace as much as I can. That means letting go of stress and pleasing everyone. This year I spend time with my family and relax. I need that time to just sit and enjoy the season. We are going to watch a movie without me checking emails!

Keep all the holidays Simple!
Start Christmas shopping early or make Christmas presents early.
Plan shopping days for sibling presents early!
Make shopping lists based on stores
Have all shopping done by December 15th

I have just loved the different seasons for the monthly cleaning lists. Since I made Christmas To-Do Lists last year I thought it would be fun to have the updated monthly cleaning list to match.

This is a fun way to also make sure you change your lists as the seasons or just times of the year changes.
