Setting up our Firework Painting
You will see the way we set up everything.
Paint On a Paper Plate
You can see the paint and we put three colors on a paper. We just swirled them around on the paper plate. You can do any mix of the colors.
Put Elastic Ball in Paint
Then you put the elastic balls in the paint. You can going to try and keep just one side in the paint.
You can make sure the paint is covering the bottom of the elastic ball.
How we made the Firework Painting with String Balls
Here are all the steps that we used for painting.
Pick up a Elastic Ball with Paint on It
You can see the paint covering he elastic ball. You can see how the paint is on the rubber bands in different thickness. And part is not always covered.
That makes the painting unique.
Stamp the Elastic Ball on the Paper
Next you take that ball with that paint and stamp it on the paper. You can do a light stamp and a push really hard. it won’t matter.
You pick it up after stamping and then keep stamping over and over. You can go back for more paint or just use the paint on the ball a few times.
This makes it different each time you paint with the ball on the paper.
Add More Colors
You can go back and start adding different colors. You can see how fun it look to add a second color to the paper. And you can repeat the stamping that you did again.
You can see the how fun it is over lap on the different colors. And yes it is loads of fun. Lots of colors and it looks like fireworks going off on the paper.
Now remember that is is just a fun painting activity and no painting will look the same. And that is okay.
If they only paint with one color that is okay.
If they only use a few colors and don’t overlap that is okay.
This is something fun and easy and fun.
