Free Ocean Counting Mats: Number 1 to 10
Counting can be one of those hard activities to work on. These mats make counting a lot of fun with a hands-on activity.
My youngest loves using ten frames for her counting activities. We have been working on it a little bit. I thought I would make some ocean mats to go with our Ocean themed summer we have been having.

I love the idea of these mats. You can use almost anything when you are counting on these. I love making these hands-on by give them different types of items to count with. We used blue glass gems
Each ocean counting mat has a ten frame and the number in digits and words. This is such a fun way to work on ocean activities. Each number has its own page. One part I like about these is you can print just the number you want to work on.
Setting up an Ocean Counting Mat
I set up the counting mat we are working on and counters for the ten frame and mat up to 10 for each. If you have a younger child you can have the exact number you are working on.
These also work nicely with the Ocean Daily Number.
