We are in the new set of the CVCC Word Family printables. We are starting with the -ast words, -est words, -ist words, -ost words, and -ust words.
This is the third set of CVCC word family endings that have come out. The first set is the cards and writing pages.

What are CVCC words?
CVCC words are words that have a consonant vowel and two consonants. The two consonants at the end are a consonant blend. That is two letters that make their own sounds but are together. You can also have two consonants at the end that are digraphs that is two letters that make the same sound.
You will find words like mast, list, gust, post, and nest. These are just a few examples. You are going to find that most of these have a short vowel sound.
These CVCC words have a -st consonant blend at the end of the word.

CVCC Word Writing Worksheet for AST, EST, IST, OST & UST
The next set of pages in a writing page. This has the first one for them and space for them to practice writing the words. This is great for kids that know how to write. A fun game with these is to use a dice and number the words from 1 to 6 and have them roll the dice and write the word matching the number.
