January Virtual Book Club: Ellen Stoll Walsh
After a month off we are back to to the Virtual Book Club again. This months author is Ellen Stoll Walsh. I have seen her books a lot but we have not read them. This is one of the reasons that I love being apart of the Virtual Book club for kids. You get to look at new authors or check out new books by authors that you already love.
Ellen Stoll Walsh makes some great books for learning some basic skills such as color, shapes, and numbers. Plus the mice make them really cute. It is always nice to have different books to learn the same concepts. I know that we have been working really hard on our colors right now. I do also like that several of the books are available in Spanish. This is a great way to introduce kids to a second language.
The three books for this month are: Mouse Paint, Mouse Shapes and Mouse Count.
Out of the three books I’m leaning towards doing an activity with Mouse Paint, but I always like the girls have their say as well.
If you are looking for more Ellen Stoll Walsh books check these out:
There is not linky for this but a group post that will have ALL the activities on it. It is really fun to see what everyone does! I still encourage you to do an activity inspired by one of the three books! It is always fun to have activities with books.
Check out the Authors for the year and the dates you can come see the activities!
