What are color Words?
Color words are words like red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. They are the words we used to describe colors that we see.
Color Dot Marker Words
Color Dot Marker Words are words made with dots on the letters. You can dot the dots on the letters to work on the letters in the words.
Each word has a dot marker word for kids to use.
You can find almost all the color but black in the dot marker. For the black I just use a round foam brush and black paint. I have use watercolors for the black as well.

You can start by just using dot markers to dot marker the color word. This is a great color word worksheet and learning center.
Small Items on the Dot Marker Circles
One easy way to change dot maker color words printable is to put items in the circles. We love using mini erases for this. You can find them in dollar stores, Target or other places. You could also use clear counters for this.
Reuse the on the Dot Marker Circles
Another way to use these pages is to put them in dry eraser pocket and use dry erase markers on them and objects to color the circles. We used erasers a lot, but you could use playdough as well.
