Pumpkin Patch Windows

This is a great activity for kids to do. It is a smple pumpkin themed window that is loads of fun to make. You can set this activity up really easy. Plus it great for the fall or autumn for kids learning about seasonal changes.

For this months Poppins Book Nook theme was seasonal. We read several seasonal books this month. But the one book we are using is call Calendar. I loved how it covered all the months and seasons were displayed nicely on each page. The text was simple and allowed you to explore with your eyes and talk about each page.

We made some Pumpkin Patch windows for our activity with this month. We talked about what we liked most about the fall season and it was pumpkins. You can check out windows we have made in the past here: Fall Window, Spring Window and Menorah Window.

What you need to make your Pumpkin Pack Window

blue construction paper, 3 short and 3 long strips of brown construction paper, green construction paper, glue stick, glue, plastic wrap, fall foam stickers.

How to make the Pumpkin Patch Window

First they out glue on the green paper or the blue paper. Then put the green paper on the blue, pressing down.

Then they put on the pumpkins. It was fun to see what different ways they put on the pumpkins.

They put the plastic wrap on their papers.

They glued on the brown paper to make the frame of the window.
