I’ve just discovered your blog a couple of weeks ago, maybe from Money Saving Mom, but I can’t remember for sure. I have a question about the calendar printables. How do YOU use them? I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to teach my 3yo DS & 4yo DD (almost 5) about the calendar: months, days of the week, etc. The biggest thing is that it needs to be portable. I would love to hear any suggestions you might have. Thanks!
I use them with a pocket chart. They fit into a pocket calendar chart. If you want to make it more portable you can put it on a poster board and use velcro to attach each day. It all depends on how you want to use it. I know people that just use the day, month and year and only have that up. There are different ways to use it. A lot of people just use the single page calendar. Some use the calendar pieces to teach even and odd.
If you want to make them smaller you can always print more than one page at a time. You can find instructions here on how to print more than one page at a time: http://3dinosaurs.com/wordpress/index.php/free-blends-playdough-mats/
