Spring Dot the Number & Count: Flower, Butterfly & Frog

Dot markers are a fun way to learn. And we love these seasonal and themed dot marker sets. They are so much fun to use.

You get to count and dot numbers while having fun with spring themes: flowers, frogs, and butterflies!

All while working on numbers from 0 to 20.

Spring is such a fun season with so many great themes. I love that we can change things up as the seasons go by. Some of our favorite themes have been flowers, butterflies, and frogs.

So being able to have new counting activities for them makes it fun.

These pages come in color and black and white.

The color pages have the number on the side and a color picture of with dots on them. This page is great to be reused as a learning center. I recommend printing it on cardstock and laminating the page if you use it over and over.

The black and white page is great for a single use printable or if you want to save on ink. It has a space for names and directions at the top.

How we use these dot marker printables

The most basic way to use the black and white pages is with a dot marker. We have a blast marking the pages. You can choose any color you want or match the color of the picture.

The color pages are great to reuse. We have used a lot of glass gems on the pages. They are great for fine motor work. Plus we reuse the glass gems a lot. You can see how we used them on the number and the frog.

You can also use clear counters. They are another great fine motor tool you can use. They work perfectly for the circles.

It is easy to find seasonal erasers all over. We have used a lot of them as hands-on items for the printables. You can see how we used some butterflies with this butterfly page.

You can also punch out small circles from construction paper. Then glue them on the pages. They are fun to work in fine motor skills while gluing them.

Don’t forget you can also use the dot marker on the color pages. You can have fun matching colors and filling in the circles.
