No-Prep Sight Word Trace, Write, Find & Count Printable

I love having different activities for kids to learn. I know that I’m always looking for something different but it is similar to what we love.

Today you have a new fun sight word find that is very simple and easy to use. It has tracing, writing, find and counting all in one sheet. It is a tremendous no-prep format that can make teaching easier.

What is a sight word?

A sight word is a word that appears very often in reading and writing.

These are words like: and, you, the etc

You will see these words a lot, and these are work you work on just knowing my heart. So that kids can know these words easily in their reading.

Sight Word Trace, Write, Find & Count Printable

I wanted something new that was simple to use but had all the elements that people ask for. I wanted a no-prep sheet that can be used in many ways. I also wanted to be able to do many skills on a sheet.

Each page has two lines of sight words to trace, two lines for writing, a word find, and counting words. This is a fun mix of activities together.

Ways to use the Sight Word Trace, Write, Find & Count

One of my favorite ways to use these is with dot marker. You can have fun dotting the words as you find them. Plus there are only a few words to find to make it easy for kids that are just starting out. They can trace the words in pencil or fine line marker. I love to give them markers that match the dot markers.

You can go simple and just use tools that kids already have crayons! Crayons work great because you can find them almost anywhere.

I love having sheets that you can reuse. Now I use sheet protectors a lot for this. I store my most used page in them in a binder. But you may find that if you use them over and over that laminating the page to help to last longer. You then can use clear counters and dry erase markers. Then you can use the sheet over and over.

Another item that I use on these pages a lot is clear glass gems. You can see through the gem to the word. I use it like above with the sheet protector. You can also have them do the page with hands-on items and them color it afterward.

Don’t forget that there are loads of fun seasonal erasers that you can find in dollar sections. We use these a lot. You change up the way you use it seasonally but is not a seasonal page.
