Ways to use the Roll a Candy Jar Math
There are many ways to use these printables. I thought I would show you a few of them.
I love having hands-on items to use with these printables. You can see how we set it up for the 1 to 6 version. It has clear counters in rainbow colors to match the set.
You have them roll the dice and then add the correct color to the jar.
Another way to use these printables is with a dot marker. You have a white jar so you can do just that. It also saves on those that don’t want to print color pages.
The dot markers match the colors to the sheet. You can use it for all three math types.
For the math pages, I like to use the dice in dice. They come in different types but the 6 sided double dice and the 12-sided double dice work great. It lets you do one roll for the math.
You can see how we set it up for multiplication practice. This is a fun way to work on math facts. We use the hands-on items when we can. It was simple and easy to do. She is using the 12 sided dice page.
Both types of math have a recording sheet. This allows you to know what rolls of the dice they had. If you want to reuse the page put it in a sheet protector.
