Stacking Pumpkin Erasers

We stacked and counted Pumpkin shaped erasers. We started with 1 and worked up to 5. Then we stacked them up as high as we could get them. I got the erasers from Target last year.

Next we explored the pumpkin by gluing circles on a dot marker pumpkin patter. I cut out the circles using this 5/8 inch circle shape.

Dot Marker Pumpkin

The Dot Marker Pumpkin was a part of the Fall Dot marker Pages You need glue, two colors of paper for the circles and the pumpkin from the Fall Dot Maker extras.

Letter P Gross Motor

We did some gross motor for our letter as well! We did a masking tape P on the floor and had fun with it! They walked the “p”, traced with pointers, jumped around the “p”, and lined the “p” with big foam pumpkins, and walked on the pumpkins.

We also did some alternating pumpkin patterns on the floor with the foam pumpkins. I got the foam pumpkin from Target.

Letter P Printables

We used part of the Romping & Roaring P Pack. To explore the letter P and pumpkins. We took the Color the Pp page and put pumpkin stickers on all the “P”s. They did the Dot the P and Pumpkin and used pumpkin table toppers for all the dots.

  1. These are awesome. I especially love all of those gross motor ideas for teaching the letters. I really need to incorporate those more as I start teaching my toddler letters.

  2. These are great letter P and pumpkin themed activities and resources. This is presented in a fun educational way that somehow does not feel like learning 🙂 Thank you for sharing and for linking up this week to the Thoughtful Spot Weekly Blog Hop.

  3. I like all the activities! But gross motor ideas are my favourite. And the pictures are so funny. Thanks for sharing!
