Easy To Use Free Place Value Bookmark Printables
The math bookmarks have been such a hit at our house and we love having them. It was time to be creative again and add a different math bookmark. I thought it would be fun to have one for place value.
These bookmarks are great for kid sized hands and they love to use them.
The Place Value Bookmarks is a great addition to the place value printables on the site.
What is Place Value?
The dictionary says that place value is a digit’s numerical value by virtue of its position in a number.
That makes place value sound really complicated, but it is not. Each number digit has a value based on where it is. So if I have the number 24. Then the 2 is in the tens place, and the 4 is in the ones place. It is super easy once you understand what each place value is.
There are several terms used in place value: standard, value, expanded, and picture.
Place Value Bookmark Printables
I thought this would be a very fun way to show place value in a different way. We have done some fun activities with place value but this shows how each one looks. You can count the zeros
There are 4 bookmarks per page in black and white. Each of the bookmarks has the 1 through 9 in that place value on the bookmark. I tried to put as many as I could in. They go up to a hundred billion. This gives some growth as you move up in math.

Ways to Use the Place Value Bookmark Printable
I printed ours on colored card stock and laminated them. I make sure that each grouping was on the same colors of card stalk.
This did take printing a few pages twice but I love how it turned out. You can clearly see which ones go together and sets of three. This also helps my girls when they are looking at the numbers.
We have loved looking at the number of zeros at each number set.
Each bookmark helps who are working on place value printables.

This is a really interesting way to get kids all excited about math.
Mrs. Cassie, I don’t think you will ever make a printable that I don’t love to use! Every pack is put to use here afterschool. PJ loves the cute graphics and follows along on each page. The most improvement I’ve seen lately has been with your “Ways to Add..” math printable s. He completes these independently now. We can move on to double digits thanks to you!!
The ways to add printables are really fun! They are one of my favorite.
