Math Fact Houses for Multiplication & Division
Learning math facts is very important for kids to learn. One way to learn them is to use Math Fact houses. My girls loved the addition and subtraction houses. They make learning really fun. A great way to build on this was to make some for multiplication and division.
These are really easy to use. You pick two small numbers to fill in the lower numbers of the roof of the house. They figure out what the post number should be. We use the multiplication flash cards to help with this. Give them a card and they fill in the sheet.
A second way to do it is to give them the skip counting wall cards and skip counting dice. Have them roll the dice and see what number they are counting by. Then use the wall cards to pick the second number. Then solve for the missing number and fill out the sheet.
Now if you want to do similar activities with the addition and subtraction math fact houses. Just do the same thing using the Addition Cards or Subtraction Cards.
