Flower Sensory Bin
I took two sets of fake flowers and took them apart and put them in a bin. We read the book Planting a Rainbow with this activity. It was simple and easy. The girls played with it for a long time. Plus got to explore a lot of different textures in the flowers.
What you need: fake flowers and bin.
They explored the different types of flowers. Each found the colors they liked in the bin as well.
They made patterns with the flowers.
They stood up and dropped the flowers.
They sorting the flowers and made homes for them.
How you know the sensory bin did well. everyone wants to do it again the next few days.
