What are Ten Frame Cards?
Ten frames are two-by-five rectangular frame into which counters are placed to demonstrate numbers less than or equal to 10.
Ten frames help kids with number sense.
Ten Frames are a great way to work on counting and math at the same time and they are used a lot in the start of Preschool, Kindergarten and First Grade. By using the ten frames kids have a different way of learning to count.
I love Earth Day and I thought these cards with the recycle bin and ten frames would be a fun way to help kids with counting. Plus they are a great addition to the Earth Day Learning Pack.
There are two types of ten frame cards. This allows for different levels of learning.
Filled in the Number Ten Frame Cards
You have a number and matching numbers filled in on the ten frame. It is great for the beginner to use.
Blank Earth Day Number Ten Frame Cards
You have a number on the recycle bin and a blank ten frame. It is good for the older kindergarten and review for first grade.
