Dinosaur Themed Sight Word Activities

Dinosaurs have always been a favorite theme for us! We have loved using that themed to learn with. Today I have a fun set of Dinosaur sight word activities for kids to do!

This has a collection of cards, puzzles, writing, and find sight words all with dinosaurs. It is a fun set to work on those sight words with our favorite theme.

Dinosaur Sight Word Cards

Flashcards are something that gets used over and over. I love having a variety of them to use. Plus dinosaur is a fun theme.

There are all 220 sight words plus 95 nouns in the set. Each sight word set comes with a building mat and those sight word cards in a dinosaur theme. We use the lacing letters in the build area.

Dinosaur Sight Word Find

Each of these pages is a no-prep printable that words on tracing and find the sight words. You have a word to trace and then find on the dinosaur eggs below. It is fun to do. We mix it up and use dinosaur counters for the find part every now and then. You can even put these sheets in sheet protectors and use the over and over.

The set has all 220 Dolch Sight Words. You can get the whole set together or by sight word list.

Dinosaur Sight Word Tracing Strips

I know that I like something we can use for tracing and writing practice for sight words. The tracing strips are great for this. I printed all the sight words on cardstock and laminated them. I have them on a big ring we can flip through and trace them.

You can see there is also a writing strip. I like to pick out a few of their words we are working on and put them on a ring. Then we can use a dry erase marker to trace or write them as much as we want. These make a great center for kids to use.

There are all 220 sight words plus 95 nouns in the set.

Dinosaur Sight Word Puzzles

I love using puzzles to learn with. Kids can have loads of fun making words with puzzles. Plus dinosaur is a great theme to have while learning. At least my girls think so.

Each puzzle has one dinosaur and the letters from a word. They help kids spell sight words and make a picture at the same time. There is a puzzles mat plus a recording sheet that can be used. I recommend laminating the puzzles to help them last longer.
