Camping Spin & Cover: Counting, Addition & Multiplication
Math is always one is that people are always asking me if I have more printables for. And I love doing themed activities for math. It changes the way we do everyday activities.
I have a free camping themed spin and cover. It is a great activity to do with kids that are working on counting, addition, and multiplication.
I always hear that kids love these and I just love making them. I know that my girls love them. I always hear yeah it is something new to do!
This is a great addition to our summer printables on the site. It is a fun way to change things up during the summer.
There are three types of pages in the set. You have a counting that works on 1 to 6. You have an addition that adds from 2 to 12. You have multiplication that works on numbers from 1 to 6.
Each of the pages has a spinner with the numbers 1 to 6. Plus there are directions on how to use each page. If you plan on reusing these I recommend printing them on cardstock and laminatingthem.
You can see an example of the counting printable below.

Ways to use these Spin & Cover Printables
Each of the pages has a spinner and directions on how to use the spinner. You can see the pencil here and the paperclip. They hold the pencil and flick the paperclip to make it go around.
If the pencil and paperclip would be too hard then try getting a clear spinners. They would great on these and are super easy to spin.
One way to use these one time is with a dot marker. They fit into the circles and are super fun for kids to do. Plus is great if you are only using the page one time.
I love the reuse the pages when I can. So we use a lot of hands-on items.
One of my favorites is the clear counters. They fit in the circles and are great for fine motor work. I have also used clear glass gems.
I also love to use mini erasers. You can find loads of them at Target or the dollar store. I have them always around. So you can use them to cover the numbers as well.
Now a fun activity to do after you have all the circles covered is to uncover them all.
You can also change that up for the multiplication and addition. So if they come to a number they have already using they uncover it.
