How to make the Buttefly Color Easy Reader Book

There are all the steps that I use to make the color easy reader book. You can see the pictures below to see how to put the book together.

Step 1: Cut the Easy Reader Book Down the Middle

You take all the pages of the easy reader book. You make sure they are all lined up together. Then you cut the easy reader book in the middle. There is a line between the top and bottom pages.

Step 2: Alternate the Pages of the Easy Reader Book

You are going to alternate the pages. The odd pages are on the top and the even pages on the bottom. You can see how we stacked the pages so they go in order.

Step 3: Staple the Sides of the Easy Reader Book

After you have the pages alternated you then staple the book. You want to make sure all the pages are lined up. Then staple on the side. There is a space on the left side for this. I like to use 3 or four staples for the books.

Setting up the Color Clip Cards

You can set up the clip cards in a learning station. You have the clothespins to the side in a bin matching the same number as the cards. Then the cards before them.

Clipping the Color Cards

Each of the cards has three color words. You can have them read the color words and clip the card for the matching butterfly color.
